Suzanne Rine- Mandolin & Violin
 
  • Suzanne is a singer and multi-instrumentalist. 
  •  She attended Cincinnati Conservatory of Music’s Summer Music Institute for high school students through voice and flute and was a music major at Hanover College in voice performance/theory.
  • She is a Southern Indiana native but studied privately with various instructors in voice and flute, studied classical guitar with Clelia Reardon in Charleston, South Carolina, and most recently for the past two years studied fiddle, guitar and mountain music traditions with well-known Western North Carolina fiddler/multi-instrumentalist Roger Howell.
  • She taught fiddle at Blue Mountain Schoolhouse and fiddle, guitar, mandolin and voice at her own studio in and around Mars Hill, North Carolina.

 
  • She and her husband, Dusty, moved back to the Madison area in June of 2007 after being away for 23 years. They perform as a duo called "Waterbound" playing a variety of music.
